- Cases
Has been involved in more than 1,000 criminal and
civil cases, participating in high profile cases such as: the
Troika Operation, the Juan Asensio Case, the Biblión Operation,
the Kidnapping of Rafael Ávila, the Buenaventura Crime,
the Sicario de Alcalá Case, the Marroncito Operation,
the Rota Fire Case, the Baviera Motors Case and a Gas Explosion
in Fuenlabrada, as well as defending Spanish nationals in the
UK.

Luis Romero provides legal advice to a number of television
programmes including España Directo and La Mañana
on TV1. He has also offered legal advice for interviews broadcasted
by Antena 3 TV, TELE 5, LA CUATRO, LA SEXTA, TeleMadrid, Canal
Sur TV, Intereconomía TV and Veo TV.
He has also provided legal advice to Onda Cero, Cadena Cope,
Cadena Ser and Punto Radio and has written more than 100
articles on issues related to criminal law, justice and the
legal profession which have been published in ABC, El Mundo,
El Correo de Andalucía, La Toga and LexIuris.
- Conferences
Has given lectures and conferences on a number of subjects
including “El Proceso Penal en España”,
(Criminal Proceedings in Spain), which was part of a seminar
organised by the UIA and ABA in Bilbao (May 2008), and “La
Protección Penal del Patrimonio Histórico” (Criminal-Law
Protection of Historic Heritage) at Seville’s Archivo
de Indias (November 2007). He also participated in the Closing
of the 2005/2006 ICIDE course together with the Vicepresident
of the Constitutional Court. At the beginning of December 2009
he also gave a lecture titled “¿Qué es
ser abogado?” (What does it mean to be a lawyer?) at
the auditorium of the Pablo de Olavide University.
